A look back on the week in Andromo, Android, Mobile, and stuff…
Andromo 4.0.3
We released Andromo 4.0.3 on Wednesday with a brand new card style layout option for the RSS and YouTube activities as well as some other fixes and features. Read the changelog for a full list of everything that we fixed and added.
This release also marks the first time I (a lowly client programmer) have added database migrations and options to the build. It also marks the first time that I can be responsible for bugs on the website and bugs in the resulting app! Be kind.
Bye-Bye Vic
On Thursday Vic Gundotra Senior Vice President, Social, at Google announced his departure from Google:

I liked what Vic was doing on Google+ and his presentations at I/O and other events; it will be interesting to see where he ends up and what this means for Google+.
Andromo Sample App
Today we pushed the Andromo Sample App onto Google Play. This is the official Andromo Sample app and it shows you a little bit of what Andromo has to offer. The app is a great way to quickly see what our activity’s look like and how they function on your device.

We here at Andromo are interested to see what this means for the smartphone market especially the recently announced Nokia X line of smartphones.
