Why do I need ads txt?
Creating your own ads.txt file gives you more control over who’s allowed to sell ads on your site and helps prevent counterfeit inventory from being presented to advertisers. We strongly recommend that you use an ads. txt file.
What does it mean in fact?
Your app ads requests will be higher if you implement ads.txt in your apps. Thus, your revenue from app monetization will grow.
If you go to Admob and click ‘’All apps’’, app-ads.txt, you will get a code. You need to copy this code and publish it on the root of your developer website.
Ideally, you should have your website where you can paste this code. But if you don’t have a website, you can use a third-party service.
In this video, we give an example of a service that we found on our own in Google. We also know that some of our developers are using it. This video shows you the fastest and easiest way to set up app ads.txt for your apps using a third-party service, but we cannot guarantee 100% stability of this service. There is a risk that one day the service will stop working, and in this case, you will need to either look for a new one or still create your website and be sure of the stability of the app ads.txt of your apps.
After you complete all steps, wait at least 24 hours for Admob to crawl and verify your app-ads.txt file.
After Admob verifies your app-ads.txt, you will see a confirmation in the app-ads.txt tab in the ”Status” field.
